LUMEN

LUMEN – an acronym for Luebeck Medical Engineering – and its predecessor LUMEN II are a collaborative research initiative of University of Lübeck and Lübeck University of Applied Sciences, focusing on blood circulation and blood vessels. The is initiative is being funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), based on an application by the TANDEM partners. LUMEN comprises 10 PhD projects and constitutes one of the six branches of the Graduate School for Computing in Medicine and Life Sciences. Branch speaker is Prof. Dr. Martin Ryschka, Lübeck University of Applied Sciences.
